As the trials and tribulations of the 2024-2025 come to a close for the Christmas break, we just wanted to show you Breightmet United Football Club's TEAM OF THE WEEK! This is selected from the various nominations received from our Youth Team coaches about individuals that have shown something 'over and above' that week. Sure - it may be a worldie that nearly rips the net on it's way in - or a goalkeeper making a save that nobody thought possible. But can also be the player that came out of their shell that week, made a brilliant tackle for the first-time or has overcome adversities simply to be at football at the weekend...

We want to celebrate and recognise the efforts that our players go to week in, week out - so when we all come back in the New Year, the Club will be 'going to town' to make sure that you guys - the faithful fans - can be proud for each and every player that pulls on that famous jersey every weekend. Who knows? We may even extend it to the Senior Section having their own version as well...

Massive respect to the legend that is Gaz Murphy for compiling these excellent cards with such a short turnaround time - but they look cool and we know the kids love them! Nice one Gaz...
